Italian superbike maker Ducati on Wednesday launched two new superbikes - Monster 797 and Multistrada 950 - in India for a price tag of Rs 7.77 lakh and Rs 12.6 lakh respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).
The two new models are among the five company has planned to launch in India later this year.
"This is a major step towards the growth of Ducati product range in India," Ducati India Managing Director Ravi Avalur told reporters.
"With these two models, we will rapidly increase our market share in the relevant segments of the Indian big bike market," he added.
Currenlty, Ducati has six dealerships at Delhi, Mumbai, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Pune and Bangalore. Ducati's new models are being targeted in India to give company a good hold in the market.
