New Delhi : The much awaited CBSE Board exam results will be announced in the fourth and fifth week of this month. According to Report by NDTV India "The results of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination is likely to be declared on May 27 and CBSE Class 10th results between May 29 and 31 at the official website, cbse.nic.in.

The CBSE examinations started late this year due to Assembly elections held in the five states. An official announcement of the date of the CBSE results would be made on the official website of the CBSE in a few days time. Lakhs of students appeared for CBSE Class 10th and 12th Board Exams 2017. 

According to a senior CBSE official, the CBSE Results delay is because of the delayed start this time. The CBSE exams started nine days late due to assembly elections in five states in March. "At present, the evaluation of Hindi papers are going on," said the official.

Steps to check CBSE Class 10th Results and class 12th results 2017: 

1. First thing candidates need to visit cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in

2. Then click on the link appeared as CBSE 12th / Intermediate Results

3. Enter your roll number

4. Finally, click on submit button

This year, the class 12 exams were held from March 9 to April 29, while class 10 exams were held from March 9 to April 10.

CBSE Class 10th: Last year, a total of 15,309 schools registered for the exam while this year it has increased to 16,363.

CBSE Class 12th: From 10,678 schools registered last year, 557 more schools have been added.

This year, a total of 19, 85,397 students from classes 10 and 12 are appearing for the board examinations.
