Deepika Padukone refuses film starring Varun Dhawan

New Delhi : A couple of days after Varun Dhawan registered his excitement on working with Deepika Padukone, the reports are in that the latter has apparently rejected the movie directed by Shoojit Sircar.

Varun Dhawan and Shoojit Sircar are coming together for the film 'October' and for the female lead the makers had approached Deepika Padukone, who has apparently rejected the offer due to numerous reasons.

Deepika Padukone had earlier showed interest in working with Shoojit Sircar again; they had earlier worked together in a hit movie 'Piku'.

But as per reports, Deepika did not find the role appealing to her and also the screen space was also one of the prime reasons behind her refusal for the film.

'October' film has been written by Sircar's frequent collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi. They say the film has been slated to hit the silver screens on June 1, 2018.
