Mumbai : Actress Niki Walia, who is making a comeback on television with "Ishq Gunaah", says she is not planning to settle in India because she can't uproot her children from Britain.

Niki's children, Sean and Sabrina, are currently staying in Britain with their father Sonny Walia.

"I don't want to settle in India. I don't want to uproot my kids. I can travel back and forth as much as it's required, and I don't think it should be a problem. My kids are quite well-settled over there, and it won't be fair to shift them to a different country altogether," Niki said in a statement.

The actress was last seen on the TV show "Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani", which went off the air in 2006.

Niki will play Laila Raichand, the lead antagonist in "Ishq Gunaah", which will also feature Sanjay Kapoor, Smriti Kalra, and Aashim Gulati.

The show will soon air on Star Plus.

Ashish Chowdhry's daredevil stunt for TV show

Actor Ashish Chowdhry was suspended from a harness from atop a 21-storey building for his upcoming TV show "Dev Anand".

"I have done many stunts in my career, but this has been the craziest one ever. The scene in question required me to be suspended from atop a 21-storey building for a five-minute scene. I had to be suspended from that height for four hours continuously," Ashish said in a statement.

"I thought that was a better option because going up and coming back to being suspended was a mentally taxing option. It was a glass building and even holding on to a pipe, balcony or window in case of a mishap was not an option.

"Hanging on a harness for a long period also takes a toll on your body as the entire body tends to go numb because the blood flow is hampered momentarily. The creative team ensured me that the stunt would be performed under strict supervision, yet when you know there's no coming back in case anything goes wrong, the process makes you vulnerable," he added.

"Dev Anand" will be aired on Colors starting July 29.

Delight to write, direct ‘KBC' campaign: Nitesh Tiwari

"Dangal" fame director Nitesh Tiwari says he is delighted to be associated with megastar Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming ninth season of the TV show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" as the writer and director of its ad campaign, "Jawab Dene Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai".

The campaign depicts various slice-of-life situations where individuals are bogged down by difficult questions of life and their only hope in life is to change their destiny with the power of knowledge.

The campaign line "Jawab Dene Ka Waqt Aa Gaya Hai" captures the spirit of the Sony Entertainment Television show.

"It is always a delight to write and direct ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati' advertising campaign. It revolves around common man and woman with Amitabh Bachchan, and is always based on societal truth," Tiwari said in a statement.

"The tone is humorous and the challenge is to make its appeal universal. We are excited with this year's campaign," he added.
