Moments after mocking India in British court by saying "keep dreaming about a billion pounds", Vijay Mallya crossed all boundaries and tweeted that the India media is running an "intense hate campaign" against him.

"Intense hate campaign by Indian media against me knows no bounds. The GOI has filed a case which is before a U.K. court. Wait for verdict," loan defaulter Vijay Mallya posted on the social media.

Vijay Mallya, who owes Indian banks a loan of Rs 9000 crores, fled India last year in March and has been living in Britain, mostly, since then.

After India’s pressure a formal extradition request for him in February, Vijay Mallya was arrested by Scotland Yard on April 18, but was then released on conditional bail.
