New Delhi : It’s been hard times for AAP and Arvind Kejriwal after the debacle in MCD polls in Delhi. The AAP was distant second after BJP won the Delhi civic polls with highest margin.

After the debacle many AAP leaders offered to resign including Sanjay Singh, Alka Lamba, Asish Kethan, Dilip Pandey and many others. Facing multiple resignations, Delhi CM has called his MLAs for meeting.

Yesterday, Chandini Chowk MLA Alka Lamba offered to resign owing responsibility of bad performance of the party.

Even, Delhi unit in-charge Dilip Pandey also stepped down from the post taking moral responsibility. Sanjay Singh sent the resignation to Kejriwal after the party lost in Punjab.

First it bad show in Punjab, then complete failure in Goa and by-polls results in Delhi rubbed salt to injuries.

The offer to step down comes a day after the party suffered a setback in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections winning in just 45 wards out of the total 272 and finishing a far second behind the BJP.
