DRS review: Dhoni forgets he is no more Indian skipper, Virat Kohli comes to rescue

Pune : Mahendra Singh Dhoni, after stepping down as Indian skipper, landed in ground for Team India as wicket keeper batsman in the first ODI against England in Pune.

All eyes got stuck on him after he accidently asked umpires to go for a DRS review, forgetting he is no more an Indian skipper. Reacting sharply to it, Virat Kohli also signaled umpires to take the DRS review. As per rule only team's captain is allowed to ask umpires for a DRS review.

Opener Roy was looking to be in fine touch as he scored a quick-fire 73 off just 61 balls. It was then that he edged the ball off Ravindra Jadeja and Dhoni collected the ball with ease behind the stumps. However, the umpire was doubtful whether the batsman had edged it but the former captain was clear and went for TV referral straight away.
