Terrorists shouted 'This is for Allah' before stabbing strangers on the London Bridge last night. At least six people have been killed and over 20 were injured in the deadly bloodshed at around 10pm on Saturday night in the capital.
In a separate incident a van ploughed through pedestrians on the pavement at speeds of around 50mph.
An eyewitness spoke exclusively to CNN and described the horrific situation on London bridge at the time of deadly attack.
"They were running up and going ‘This is for Allah’."
"The run up and stabbed this girl - I don’t know how many times - 10 times, maybe 15 times.
"She was going, ‘Help me, help me’ and I couldn’t do nothing."
"I threw something - there was a bike on the floor.
"I threw something at them like a bike or a chair."
It is believed the terrorists then targeted people in bars and restaurants in the popular Borough Market area.
As per reports, the two attackers have been killed by the armed police who responded to the scene; while the third one is still on the run.
No terrorist outfit has claimed the attack so far, but Prime Minister Theresa May has confirmed the incidents are being treated as acts of terrorism.
