London : Unbelievable, yet true, UK's first pregnant man delivered a healthy baby girl in Britain. Hayden Cross, 21, had made headlines after he had announced pregnancy via a sperm donor, three years after becoming legally male through gender reassignment.

Parents told the Sun: “She’s perfect in every way. She is so good. I’m so lucky.”

His daughter Trinity-Leigh was born on June 16, making him the first transgender man to give birth in the UK. Hayden Cross now wants to complete his gender reassignment to remove his breasts and ovaries.

He had also applied to have his eggs frozen on the NHS in the hope he would be able to have children in the future. But, on refusal, an anonymous man chose to become a donor.

“Having a biological child has always meant a lot to me,” he said earlier this year. “I’ve always wanted kids.”

His daughter was born at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Her birth was registered at Gloucester Register Office on Wednesday, with Mr Cross listed as a mother but no father named.
