Los Angeles : US President Donald Trump is set to unveil his first budget in mid-March which will be a keystone of his priorities for the coming years.

The White House on Wednesday informed that nearly four trillion dollar annual federal budget will be unveiled by Trump in March. A Budget is a declaration of intent that puts the president's policy goals down in black and white.

White House spokesperson Sean Spider said, "We'll have something in mid-March. The finances of this country are a mess but we're going to clean that up.”

Trump is now raking through the proposals and talking about campaigns rhetorics and cutting waste and renegotiating federal contracts.

Now it remains to be seen that out of oodles of campaign promises, what will Trump be doing exactly to reduce a national debt set to hit $20 trillion on his watch and a deficit at 3.1 percent of GDP and rising.

Issuing a statement Trump said, "We're going to take this budget, which is in all fairness I’ve only been here for four weeks, so I can’t take too much of the blame for what’s happened but it is absolutely out of control."
