5 reasons to wait for upcoming Honda CR-V

New Delhi : Honda is all set to launch its all-new Honda CR-V in the market. And for all those who are planning to buy a new SUV, here are five reasons why they should wait for it.

1: The fifth-gen avatar of Honda CR-V is bigger and better as compared to its older versions and also its competing cars.

2: It comes with a longer wheelbase, while the overall length of the car has grown by 1.5 inches, the wheelbase has been extended by 1.6 inches. The stretch creates extra room inside the cabin which explains the 7 seats. It is also an inch taller.

3: The interiors have been made more premium with a top notch quality. There is a massive touchscreen in the middle and a neat stack of buttons. There is wood trim and leather with a plush feel.

4: For the first time and rather importantly, along with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol engine would be a 1.6 diesel. Also it will have a 9-speed automatic gearbox offered too. The diesel will be the key change here.

5: Taking competition in cosideration, Honda is likely to price aggressively against Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and others. The car will be launched in October and we expect it to be under Rs 29 lakhs.
