Toyota Yaris sedan launched at Rs 8.75 lakh: Bookings open, delivery from May 2018
New Delhi : Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday launched their brand new sedan Yaris in India at a very competitive price of Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium sedan was first showcased in 2018 Auto Expo.
Toyota Yaris will be competing directly with well-settled sedans Honda City and Hyundai Verna in the Indian market.
Bookings for Yaris have begun and the delivery of car will also start from May 2018.
Looks inspired by Camry and Corolla, the Yaris wears a sharper design theme. This comes courtesy of sleek headlights and taillights, a wide grille and a pinched roofline.
In the inside, the cabin has been kept very youthful with all modern instruments like a 4.2-inch MID, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit in the dash with gesture control, a bolstered steering wheel and sleek air-conditioning vents. The feature list also includes a tyre pressure monitoring system, adjustable neck restraints.
To make the car one of the safest on roads, Toyota has loaded it with seven airbags, ABS, EBS, ESP and Hill-Start Assist.
