New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date for offline Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2018.

The pen and paper test will be held on April 8, 2018; while the date for computer-based examination is yet to announced, claimed a report by India.com.

According to other reports, it has been learned that JEE Main 2018 paper 1 (B.E./ B.Tech) will be held in both online and offline mode. Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be held online only.

Online registration for JEE Main 2018 is likely to begin from first week of December 2017 and last till end of January 2018.

The exam for Jee Main 2018 will be conducted in 114 cities in India and also in 9 foreign cities.

Any student who had passed or appeared in class 12 are eligible to appear for the JEE Main 2018.

JEE Main is conducted for admission into around 24,323 seats in the 31 National Institute of Technology (NIT), 23 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and 20 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI) in India. The multiple choice based question paper I covers three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics to be attempted within a duration of three hours.
