World University Rankings 2018: No Indian University make it to top 200

New Delhi : The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018 of top 1,000 universities in the world has been released. No Indian Institute has made it to top 200 universities. 

This year total number of Indian Institutes getting a place in top 1000 universities has also declined from 31 to 30.

The Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has been placed anywhere between 251-300. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has been listed 351-400 category.

Meanwhile, two UK institutions lead the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of the best universities for the first time in its history, with Oxford holding on to the number one spot for the second year in a row, while Cambridge has risen to second place.
