Tamil Nadu HSC results 2018: Steps to check at tnresults.nic.in
Chennai : The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu is scheduled to declare the result for HSC or Plus two examination at its official website tnresults.nic.in.
As per reports, the results will be declared in the morning by 9:30 AM. Students who had appeared for the exam can check their results post declaration. Over 8.98 lakh students had appeared for the HSC exam.
The Class 12 (plus 2) exams were conducted from March 3 to April 6, 2018.
Steps to check HSC 2018 results:
Step 1: Log on to the official website mentioned above
Step 2: Click on the link for ‘TN HSC plus 2 results’
Step 3: In the provided fields, enter your roll number/other required details
Step 4: Click on submit
Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download the same and take a printout for future reference
NOTE: Due to heavy traffic, the website may open slow. Students are requested to be patient and keep checking the official website after regular interval of time.
This year the board has decided to issue certificates to the students with their name written in Tamil; so far the name used to be printed in English. Also, in order to prevent students from getting demotivated and avoid unhealthy competition among them, the education department will not be releasing the rank and names of the toppers.
