UPSC IES prelims results 2018 declared: Check at upsc.gov.in

New Delhi : The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday declared the results of Indian engineering service (IES) preliminary examination 2018 on its official website - upsc.gov.in. 

The aspirants who had taken the examination on January 7, 2018, can check their results on the official UPSC website.

The roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates will appear on the list, which was released on Saturday.

The candidates who have been shortlisted will now give the main examination on July 1. The admit card for the same will be issued to the candidates three weeks before the exam begins.

UPSC has also issued a write-up (about the results and the next stage of examination) along with the results, which should be read carefully.

The candidature of all candidates is provisional at all the stages of the exam - preliminary, main and the personality tests - subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

UPSC conducts the engineering service examination at various centers across the country to fill up engineering positions in various departments of the central government.
