Mumbai : It’s the birthday of Bollywood’s most loved actor Katrina Kaif. In the special occasion today, she admits that she is happiest when she’s with her family. The actor has turned 35 today and has quietly flown off to England to celebrate her birthday with friends and some of her sisters. “I am here only for three days before I return to Mumbai to finish Aanand L Rai’s film, Zero,” said Katrina. When media asked her to say something about life, career and birthdays, she chatted a lot to make her fans feel happy. Take a look at the most recent interview with Katrina Kaif.

What’s the big plan for your birthday?

Actually, I landed in London (UK) from New York (USA) towards the end of last week. From there, I travelled to a place in the countryside, just outside of England. So, right now, I am here with a few friends and some of my sisters.

Do you like birthdays?

Yes, I think they are nice and fun. You can say that I am ‘calmly excited’ rather than ‘giddily excited’ about birthdays. It’s also a nice reason to take some time out in a guilt-free manner.

With friends and sisters around, what’s on the cards? A big party or a quiet dinner?

It’s a fun kind of place, and more importantly, we are all together, so you can say that we will be somewhere in between.

Work-wise, things have been going great for you, on the back of Tiger Zinda Hai (TZH)...

Yes, definitely! I think it’s been a really exciting year for me. I have been extremely satisfied when it comes to work. TZH got loads of appreciation. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, so that gives a lot of creative satisfaction.

You have an exciting line up ahead as well...

I am very excited. Deciding to work with Aanand L Rai has been a really fantastic step for me as an actor. He gives you so much attention and helps you with every step, which helps a lot as a performer. I am really excited for Zero. Then, there’s Thugs of Hindostan (TOH), which is a really ambitious film. Like Zero’s team, it was wonderful working with Thugs’ unit as well.

You have also worked back-to-back with the three Khans (Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir) in TZH, Zero and TOH...

They are all amazing people to work with and it’s extremely educational every time I get to work with them. But what’s more important to me is being a part of good films that take cinema to newer levels in terms of content, skills, and sheer cinematic experience. I am extremely happy that I got a chance to be a part of such films.

Is it true that you will soon write your autobiography?

No, that’s absolutely not true. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Yes, I am definitely looking forward to get into production at some point - maybe not all by myself, but through a joint production. Currently, one of the ideas is under development. I am working on it and that project could materialise. That’s something I would definitely like to look into and hopefully be a part of, besides a few business lines that I am considering.
