Priyanka Chopra got wedding proposal from Gerard Butler: Who's she dating now

New Delhi : Gerard Butler, a Scottish actor and producer is a heartthrob. Where millions over girls swoon over him, he lost control over his heart to our ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra. In 2009, during his visit in India, Priyanka hosted a party in honour of him at her Versova residence. Through the course of the evening, the smitten Gerard tried his best to flatter her, but all in vain.

"Of course the party was for Gerard who was completely besotted by Priyanka and kept proposing to her every half hour. It's become a standing joke rather a 'kneeling' joke between them. 'Will you marry me?' he knelt and said every half hour while she would burst into laughter. She's clearly not interested on being Mrs Butler," a guest at the party revealed to The Times Of India.

Even after the party, Gerard could not stop thinking about Priyanka. In an interview in 2012, he expressed his admiration for her and joked, "I am still single because I am waiting for Priyanka Chopra."

Gerard is currently dating Morgan Brown, while Priyanka is said to have found love in Nick Jonas.

There are rumours of love surrounding Priyanka and Nick since they were spotted on a series of dates during the Memorial Day weekend. The two are also involved in lots of PDA on social media, by leaving playful comments on each other's pictures on Instagram.
