Sanjay Dutt is excited for 'Blockbuster' comedy avatar, says 'it makes me feel at home'

New Delhi : The Munnabhai of Bollywood is back to big screen with a comedy avatar. After entertaining the audience with his character played in Munna Bhai series, the actor will now be seen in a comic role with Sandeep Singh's next titled Blockbuster. The film will be directed by Sanjay’s friends Ajay Arora and Lovel Arora and is believed to be the actor’s first big comedy movie after the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.

Sanjay Dutt confirms, "I have always loved doing comedy. It is the genre that makes me feel at home. The scale of Blockbuster is huge and multi-starrers always connect well with audiences. I am really excited about working with Sandeep again."

Producer Sandeep Singh adds, "It was my dream to make a comedy with Baba. There are few people who can make you laugh like he does. It's not just his timing that is perfect, it's the expressions he gives that are hilarious. Wonderful to be working with Ajay and Lovel who bring years of experience and creativity to Bollywood."

Debutant Director duo Ajay and Lovel Arora quotes, "This is a huge opportunity for us. All the directors from Rajkumar Hirani to David Dhawan who have debuted with Sanjay have had fabulous success. We are very excited and even more so because it's Sanjay that we would be directing for our debut."

As per official sources, Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming movie 'Blockbuster' will be shot almost entirely in Mauritius. The film has been written Sajid Farhad, popular franchise writer of Golmaal, Housefull 2 and Dhamaal Returns. 'Blockbuster' is expected to make its audience laugh for hours and will be a total family entertainer. 

The film is expected to hit the floor in April, this year.
