Fast and Furious 9 release postponed from 2019 to 2020

New Delhi : Hollywood upcoming movie Fast and Furious 9 release has been postponed to 2020; it was earlier slated to hit the silver screens in the United States in 2019.

The Universal Studio announced that "Fast and Furious 9" has been pushed from April 19, 2019 to April 10, 2020, reports aceshowbiz.com.

No particular reason has been quoted by the makers behind the decision to postpone release of Fast and Furious 9.

With a delay in ninth instalments, there are speculations that its 10th edition might also get postponed. But, since no official news has come on this, the latter has been scheduled to hit the silver screens on April 2, 2021.

Last month, "Fast and Furious" film franchise star Dwayne Johnson shared a cryptic Instagram photograph which many believed could have featured the actor signing his contract for a long-rumoured spin-off focusing on his character Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw.
