Atal Bihari Vajpayee's condition stable, says AIIMS

New Delhi : Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's condition is stable and continues to show improvement, read a statement issued by AIIMS.

“Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee is stable. He continues to show improvement and is being monitored by a team of doctors: All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) #Delhi,” a tweet by news agency ANI read.

A team of senior doctors under the supervision of AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria is conducting the tests on Vajpayee, who is bed-ridden for many years. Guleria, a pulmonologist, has been a personal physician to Vajpayee for over three decades.

Earlier, on Friday, a lot of political leaders including PM Narendra Modi, Manmohan Singh, Amit Shah and others paid a visit to Mr. Vajpayee at the hospital.
