New Delhi : With a little more than a week left for 'Super Blue Blood Moon', you must start preparing for the phenomenon that will be seen for the first time in last 150 years.

NASA has confirmed that on January 31, the Moon will be the closest to Earth. The interesting fact is that since March 31, 1866, this is the first time when an eclipse and full moon will be seen coincide.

There have been a lot of debates going over the internet with some claiming that a similar phenomenon occurred in 1982 too; so it is not happening in last 150 years. But certainly, that fight has nothing to do with the confirmed news that it is happening on coming January 31.

However, in case you do not get a chance to see it this time, the wait won’t be long enough to watch it again. As per claims by the scientists, the phenomenon will reoccur on January 1, 2048.

It is advised that people must check the time of occurrence as per their time zones to ensure that they watch it best from their location.

The 'Super Blue Blood Moon' will last for about 76 minutes and will present moon in form of an orange ring during its peak phase.
