Kamal Hassan may join BJP, quit acting

New Delhi : After enough hints, it is likely that actor Kamal Hassan will step into politics soon, according to a latest media report he might consider Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the same.

The actor also hinted that he might give up his acting career to get the other one in shape. 

In an exclusive interview with Times of India, he said, "politics is too big a game to feel the absence of a Kamal Haasan. And art is a bigger sea."

"If I take up a position legally, I will have to quit acting," he added.

Recently, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal had gone to meet him at his residence with an offer to enter into politics and fight against corruption together.

With the recent report, it looks like Kamal Hassan has smilingly refused his offer and may take up new role painted in saffron colour.
