The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for continuation of pre-matric, post matric and merit-cum-means based scholarship schemes for the students belonging to minority communities. The government scholarship scheme will cost of over Rs. 5,000 crore up to 2020. Good news for teachers! The Haryana govt has announced to increase salary of serving guest teachers by 20 to 25 per cent. The statement has been confirmed by an official spokesman today. In addition, the government has also decided to hike their salary twice a year in the month of January and July equivalent to cost of living index, he said.
