Virat Kohli becomes fastest batsman to score 15000 runs

Colombo : Indian skipper Virat Kohli has become the fastest batsman to score 15000 runs in international cricket. He achieved the feat in 333 innings, beating Hashim Amla who had done this in 336 matches.

Kohli continued with his great form and made 82 runs in the one-off T20 international in Colombo that allowed India to win the match with seven wickets.

Chasing a decent 171 run target, Kohli played a brilliant skipper knock and became the 33rd player to complete 15,000 international runs but is the only one to average above 50 while doing so.

With the victory, India remained unbeaten in the whole series.
