New Delhi : Smartphone has become a basic necessity in our daily life. While most have us have a sleek and technologically swift smartphone, very few take proper advantage out of this device. Therefore, it is important to know these special things which will help us all the time. After a phone arrive your home, you have many things to do with it. You need to check carefully all the pre-installed apps as most of them may be useless for you and have affect your private life.  

Now-a-days, most smartphone devices come with Android OS, a trending mobile operating system with loads of features. However, it is not necessary to use every app and you may keep some while delete others as per your requirement. This action of yours will help your smartphone to run smoothly and efficiently. 1. After purchasing the well-tested smartphone, and before booting, check your device properly. Check your phone's warranty and other basic information written in the kit.

2. Before using your Android device, charge your phone, because you are going to check your phone for a few hours. You will not want to leave your phone's battery in between the checks. 

3. Connect to Wi-Fi or other internet data pack. But if you're using your smartphone for the first time, you need to connect the phone to WiFi, so that you can easily install apps.

4. You should check all the junks and clean them up as soon as possible. Your device may have services that ask you to join them but the thing is that these services have been made for manufacturers' claims. All you have to do is remove these services from your new phone because you will never use it.

5. Your phone may be loaded with unvoiced apps from manufacturers’ side. This app is not of your work, so you have to delete them from your device. You can also go to app settings, delete them or even disable them with the option.

6. Consider setting Google Account whenever you buy a new Android phone, it gives you the option to create a Google Account. Keep in mind that this is also very important. You have to set up your Google Account, because without a Google Account, you will not be able to download apps and games from Google Play store on your device.

7. Consider setting up auto updates as more than 70% of mobile malware is designed for Android operating systems. Visit Google Play App> Settings> 'Auto Update Apps to update apps downloaded from Google Play store.
