Apple to release iOS 12 update on Tuesday: Check how to download it

New Delhi : Apple is all set to roll out the latest iOS 12 update tonight; the same will be available for general public to download from today onwards. The new iOS version is a mobile operating system designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. 

It will be available for download from 10.30 pm IST in India and is available on all compatible devices such as iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X (2017).

The new iOS 12 update can also be updated on iPad Mini 2, 3 and 4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 6th and 5th generation. Other devices that are compatible with the latest version of the update includes Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch first and second generation, iPad Pro in 9.7-inches and 10.5-inches and finally the iPod Touch 6th generation.

Steps to download and install the iOS 12 update:

1. You can update the latest iOS version over-the-air (OTA) if there is WiFi network.

2. Click on the Settings option in the device.

3. Now Select General section.

4. You will find the Software update.

5. Download the new version and click install.

Users can otherwise download the update through iTunes by plugging their iOS device into their Mac or Windows devices.
