WhatsApp begins testing 'Delete for Everyone' feature
New Delhi : Facebook owned WhatsApp has started testing 'Delete for Everyone' feature for its Android and iOS applications; the feature enables users to recall a sent message before the receiver has read it.
According to a fresh leaked report by WABetaInfo, the recall server is working successfully, but the company has still kept it in testing mode before making it available for all the users. However, the tipster claims that the 'delete for everyone' feature will be enabled really soon. The tipster also notes that the feature will also delete messages from the notification centre as well - both on Android and iOS devices.
The recall feature is already available on WhatsApp’s rival apps like Viber, Telegram and more.
Lately, WhatsApp had launched a new Status feature, and has recently announced WhatsApp for Business officially. With WhatsApp Business, the company will start monetizing the app; currently it is also under the testing phase.
