WhatsApp to delete all your chats, data soon

New Delhi : Save your chats and data before it vanishes in a snap. It has been learned that WhatsApp is going a step ahead in coalition with Google, while doing so its users may lose access to their old chats and data.

According to a report, WhatsApp and Google have signed an agreement where data from WhatsApp will directly get saved into Google drive. As part of the deal Google has agreed to start letting WhatsApp users back up their accounts without it taking up any of their 15GB free data allowance - reports the Mirror Online.

The report also claims that if you fail to save your data before November 12 then you are at a great risk of losing it all.

Google recommends that users should back-up their WhatsApp accounts manually. If you don't know how to do it manually then here is the way.

From WhatsApp go to Menu, Settings, Chats then Chat backup. Select Back Up and you will automatically see everything getting backed up to Google Drive.

Note that most WhatsApp accounts will be set to only backup over Wi-Fi so be sure you're connected before you get started.
