The viral video: Drunk cop in Delhi metro – a shameful act
  • New Delhi : A video clip showing a drunk cop riding in Delhi Metro has gone viral on the social networking sites. 

  • Uploaded by a user on Facebook, the video has been shared by more than 6000 people. It showcases how the cop is struggling to get hold on to a pole while making an oscillation.

  • In this 36-second clip he can be noticed in debauched condition with shirt untucked.

  • Failed to find a grip the cop falls on the floor as train applies brakes to halt on Azadpur station on Yellow line.

  • The act is against DMRC rule. A drunk man found on Delhi metro is liable to pay a fine of upto Rs 500.

  • In 2013, the Delhi Police had prosecuted 5,587 people for travelling drunk in the Metro.

  • No comments have come from the side of DMRC officials, while police has assured against the culprit after the verification of the video.
