Airlander 10, world longest aircraft, crashes in fields of UK

London : The Airlander 10, world's longest aircraft has reportedly been crashed in the fields of the United Kingdom. It has been learned that the aircraft came down after it was snapped against nearby branches.

The authorities have closed the roads of fear of fuel and helium spilled in the area. One woman has also been reportedly injured in the accident.

One witness said the airship, which is the length of a football pitch, "fell to pieces like a big gust of wind" in the field near RAF Cardington.

In the pictures making a round over the internet, severe damage to the front nose of the aircraft can be seen.

A spokesman for Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd, which owns the aircraft, said it was not flying at the time and was on its mooring mast.
