Most spas and salons are now spending a bomb on obtaining ultraviolet disinfecting machines which can clean everything thoroughly. They are also stocking up on cleaning supplies and protective gears like masks and gloves and whatnot. But even after spending so much the number of customers who are coming in are a lot lesser which has made it very difficult for spas and salons to survive this pandemic.
The beauty and wellness industry has taken a big hit due to the global coronavirus pandemic and it has also had a major economic impact on them as well. People have lost their jobs due to lack of funding and profits. The tough part is that the traditional Thai masseuses undergo tough and thorough training and their job is labour-intensive. This makes it very difficult for them to switch jobs and find a job that is not in a spa or massage parlour.
