Tips & tricks: How to crack JEE Advanced entrance exam 2017

New Delhi : JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on 21st May 2017. Students of 12th class are pressurized too much for cracking the JEE advanced exam. They should focus on building a strong and solid foundation of scientific and technical knowledge. JEE Advanced preparation is same as JEE Main but the only difference in JEE Main & Advanced is the level of questions. 

The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017 [JEE (Advanced) 2017] will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2017. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2017 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2017 and admission to IITs.

The examination consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each of three hours duration and will be held as per the following schedule:

Preparation Tips to crack JEE Advanced 2017: 

Time Management: 

JEE Advanced 2017 is scheduled to be held on  last week of May, 2017. The time Management is the key to achieve your goal. Every student has to make a right schedule for self-study of all the relevant subjects. You can easily score on questions that you know and keep the most difficult ones for later.

Time duration of the exam is three hours and with multiple choice questions and negative marking, managing time and speed is very important, which will come over time and with practice.

Solved Previous Year Question Papers: 

Students can practice for the examination from the previous year JEE advance papers & improve their skills. Analysis of everything you do is must. Analysis will give you an idea about your weakness and strength. Depending on that one should work hard on weaknesses and improving strength.Freshers solving last 5 year paper in stipulated time, his will help you in realizing the basic requirements.

Positive attitude: 

With positive attitude you cannot become a performer. Negativity will result in nothing but frustration and failure.

Subject-wise planning: 

When preparing for any examination and JEE Advanced, in particular, keep favoritism aside. Prepare a timetable that gives each subject equal importance.

Before starting your preparations, it is essential to understand the format of the exam, type of questions, level of difficulty, marking patterns, eligibility, syllabus etc. This will help you to have a focused approach towards the exam.

Numerical: 

Numerical are of utmost importance when preparing for JEE Advanced. Set aside time to practice a minimum of 40-50 numerical per day. With the help of exam pattern, you will familiarize with the marks weightage, marking scheme, questions weighage and types of question.

Take a note of volume of the material to get covered and familiarity of topics that are involved & then devise the plan
