New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare results of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017, JEE Main 2017 on 27th April, today afternoon. Thursday.Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will upload the results on the official website – jeemain.nic.in.  The exam was held on April 2, 8 and 9, 2017.

The CBSE has already released the answer key for the JEE Main examination soon after the examination completed. CBSE has also accepted the objections against answer key before 22nd of April. 

Over 10.2 lakh students had appeared for the JEE main exam. The qualifying candidates will have to appear for JEE Advanced to get a seat in the prestigious IITs and NITs. Last year, nearly two lakh candidates cleared the CBSE JEE Main Exam out of which nearly 40,000 girls had qualified for the JEE (Advanced) test.

Once candidates have been successful in their CBSE JEE Mains Exam will be eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam 2017.Students can check JEE main results on the CBSE website cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in or www.jeemain.nic.in.

According to details provided by CBSE, the cut off scores for JEE (Advanced) for General category students was 100, while that of OBC students was 70. The cut off for SC candidates was 52 and ST candidates 48, according to data released by CBSE.

Step for check JEE Main Results 2017:

1. Visit the official website.

2. Click on the link titled 'JEE Main 2017 Results'

3. You have to enter application number, date of birth and name

4. Result will be displayed once you click submit.

5. Keep a printout of the result for future reference.

6. Students clearing the JEE Main examination will be eligible for application to JEE advanced for admission in IITs.
