TV actress Alka Kaushal sentenced to 2-year jail term

New Delhi : Alka Kaushal who is famous for her roles in negative character has been sentencing for two years of jail. 

Alka along with her mother Vishwa Mohan Badola have been accused of money laundering. They have been accused after their two cheques of Rs. 25 Lakh each was bounced.

Alka Kaushal and her mother both have been sent to jail.

According to TOI, Alka has been accused of not giving Rs.50 lakh back which they borrowed from Avtar Singh. 

They both have been sentenced to jail for 2 years by a district court in Sangrur, Punjab.

Also, Alka is the sister of popular actor Varun Badola.

The incident was that Alka and her mother borrowed money from Avtar Singh and when he asked to pay the money back, Alka and her mother gave him 2 cheques of Rs.25 lack each. But those cheques got bounced, after which Avtar Singh filed a case.
