UP turmoil: Mulayam Singh upset with son; Ram Gopal calls Akhilesh SP's future

New Delhi : The political temperatures is soaring up in Lucknow as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav called a meeting of Samajwadi Party (SP) legislators on Sunday and the rumours stating, UP CM is heading to form a new party and which has left SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav quite disheartened.

Meanwhile in a recent twist, Samajwadi Party, general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav wrote a one-page letter to party workers saying the future of the SP lay in Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

However, rubbishing all the rumours, Aditya Yadav, son of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Shivpal Yadav said that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is not forming a new party.

"There are no differences in the Samajwadi Party now and Akhilesh is not forming any party".

Interacting with the media-persons at an event on Saturday, Aditya said, "Akhilesh Yadav has always fought elections on his own and won and this time also he will win for sure."

It may be mentioned here that Akhilesh Yadav skipped a meeting of district Samajwadi Party chiefs, convened in the state capital on Friday and Saturday and chose to meet them at the chief minister's residence separately.
