HP Unleashes power: Omen 16 and Victus 16 gaming laptops now with AMD Processors
Delhi : The Omen 16 and Victus 16 gaming laptops were introduced in India by American computer manufacturer HP on September 18. The laptops are equipped with discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics processing units (GPU), respectively, and are powered by AMD Ryzen-series CPUs. According to HP, the gaming laptops use an OMEN Tempest Cooling system for improved cooling.
Omen 16: Specifications for the HP laptop
The AMD Ryzen 9-7940HS CPU is combined with an 8GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU in the Omen 16 gaming laptop. A 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD and up to 32GB DDR5 RAM are both options for the laptop. It has a 16.1-inch QHD display with up to 240Hz refresh rate support and a maximum brightness of 300 nits.
The gaming laptop has a twin Bang & Olufsen speaker system and a full-sized 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard. It has two USB type-C ports, two USB type-A ports, a combination jack for a headphone and microphone, and one HDMI 2.1 port. A battery with an 83Wh capacity and capability for rapid charging powers the laptop. The pricing of the Omen 16 gaming laptop starts at Rs 114,999. The Xbox Game Pass subscription that comes with the laptop is free for the first month.
Victus 16 laptop specifications and cost price
The Victus 16 laptop is equipped with a 6GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU and an AMD Ryzen 7-7840HS CPU. Up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB of NVMe Gen4 SSD storage are available for the laptop.
The 16.1-inch 1920x1080 display on the Victus 16 has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. A full-sized keyboard with a single zone RGB backlighting is included with the laptop. It receives the same 2 speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system as the OMEN 16. It has three USB-A ports in addition to one USB-C port. The Victus 16 receives an HDMI 2.1 connector and a headphone/microphone combo connection, similar to the OMEN 16. Price starts at Rs 86,999 for the Victus 16. A free one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass is also included.
