Pakistan bans broadcast of all Indian TV channels from October 15

New Delhi : A couple of days after Indian bodies banned Pakistani artists in Bollywood, Pakistan has now come up with a ban on the broadcast of all Indian television channels in the country.

The ban on Indian TV channels will be effective from October 15 and a strict action will be initiated against those who do not follow the guidelines.

News Agency ANI confirmed that Pakistan authorities have taken up the decision of banning all Indian channels nationwide.

# Following current Indo-Pak situation the decision has been taken by the authorities.

# The decision emerged on Saturday, a day after Pakistan’s theater owners decided to withdraw and ban screening of Indian movies until bilateral tensions between two countries subside. 

# On Thursday, the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) had announced a ban on all Pakistani artists in India.

 # Couple of days back Pakistani star Fawad Khan had returned his nation after facing threat from Maharashtra Navnirman ShivSena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray.
