SAARC Summit: Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan back India; not to attend meet in Pakistan

New Delhi : After India announced that it won't be taking part in SAARC Summit at Pakistan, neighbouring nations - Bangladesh, Bhutan and Afghanistan - have shown their support and have also decided to skip the meet.

In a major jolt to Pakistan, the three countries on Wednesday confirmed that will not participate in the SAARC summit which is scheduled in November this year in Islamabad.

India had announced that it will not attend the SAARC summit in Islamabad, saying that regional cooperation and terror can't go together. On the other hand, Pakistan had called the decision as unfortunate.
