Delhi : In October of this year, Tata Motors will release the upgraded Nexon in India. The Nexon facelift, one of Tata's best-selling models, is the Indian automaker's largest release of the year. Images of the inside that entirely display the dashboard have appeared online ahead of the official pricing announcement and following the release of countless spy photos of the exterior. The top five interior modifications we detected in the impending Nexon makeover are highlighted in this post.

Two-spoke steering wheel

The installation of a new two-spoke multifunctional steering wheel will be one of the biggest interior improvements for the Nexon facelift. The Curvv design, which also has an illuminated Tata logo in the center, appears to be the source of inspiration for the steering wheel's flat bottom. New paddle shifters will also be included to the Nexon makeover, along with possible DCT variations.

Larger infotainment system

The Red Dark variant of the Harrier and Safari SUVs from Tata Motors came with a new infotainment system earlier this year. The enhanced user interface on the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is simpler and easier to use. In April 2023, this device was further made available with the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition. Notably, a redesign of the Nexon EV line is anticipated for this year's end.

Digital-only instrument cluster

Additionally, a new colored instrument cluster screen will be included to the Nexon makeover. The seven-inch digital TFT driver's display that debuted with the Tata Harrier and Safari will likely be included.

HVAC controllers that use touch

The HVAC control panel will undergo a complete overhaul, among other major modifications. Instead of the usual physical knobs and switches, the buttons and switches will be touch-sensitive with haptic feedback.

Redesigned centre console

The Nexon redesign will also include changes to the center console that will make it appear more luxurious and uncluttered. The gear knob is significantly smaller with a mode-selector dial, as seen in the spy photos. Furthermore, a new shade of blue is anticipated for the seat upholstery.

A wireless charger, 360-degree camera, automated climate control, cruise control, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, ambient lighting, six airbags, and other innovations are anticipated to be included in the Nexon facelift's cabin.
