Tata launches Tiago and Tigor i-CNG with twin cylinder tank system
New Delhi : When it comes to CNG cars, the biggest complaint users make is of the compromised boot space but Tata has brought a solution to it with its twin cylinder CNG tank systems. The company has launched its famous Tiago and Tigor with the new cylinder update to further push the sales of the cars.
However, this is not the first time when Tata has come up with such system. Earlier, Tata Altroz was launched with twin cylinder CNG tank system.
The company has priced the new all-new Tiago iCNG from Rs. 6.55 lakh, and its sedan sibling the Tigor iCNG starts at Rs. 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
The latest Tata Tiago iCNG and Tigor iCNG models feature advanced twin-cylinder technology, which innovatively replaces the conventional single 60-litre CNG cylinder with two equal halves positioned beneath the boot floor. This ingenious setup results in a substantial increase in available boot space, making it a valuable upgrade for daily commuters who prioritize both eco-friendliness and practicality.
The Tata Tiago iCNG hatchback now offers a diverse lineup with six different variants, each boasting a compelling combination of features. The entry-level Tiago iCNG XE starts at Rs. 6,54,900 (ex-showroom), followed by the XM at Rs. 6,89,900, and the XT at Rs. 7,34,900. For those seeking more premium options, the XZ+ is priced at Rs. 8,09,900, while the XZ+ DT and XT NRG variants are priced at Rs. 8,19,900 and Rs. 7,64,900, respectively. Additionally, the XZ NRG variant is available at Rs. 8,09,900 (ex-showroom). This wide range of choices allows customers to select the variant that best fits their preferences and budget.
As for the Tata Tigor iCNG sedan, it also provides an array of options with four different variants. The Tigor iCNG XM is priced at Rs. 7,79,900 (ex-showroom), followed by the XZ at Rs. 8,19,900. The XZ+ variant comes in at Rs. 8,84,900, while the XZ+ LP is available at Rs. 8,94,900 (ex-showroom). Just like the Tiago, the Tigor iCNG variants are designed to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of potential buyers.
