Delhi : The 2023 Tata Nexon shares a futuristic appearance with the Nexon EV, which has sharper lines and a more boxy design language than the outgoing model. A full-width LED light bar, a reprofiled front grille with a flush appearance, and an upgraded air dam are present in the front. New alloy wheels are added at the front while an LED light bar linking the taillights is added to the back. Tata claims that these modifications increase the car's aerodynamics and energy efficiency (thanks to the use of LED lighting throughout).

The Tata Nexon EV's interior is overhauled with a redesigned dashboard, touch-based center console, dual-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and a ton of additional amenities. The 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, voice commands, the Arcade.ev app, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and a wireless phone charger are just a few of the features that the Nexon EV is equipped with.

On the Nexon EV, Tata has also implemented V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) technologies. 

The SUV has six airbags, ESP, hill hold control, and ISO-FIX child safety seats seat for children. 

The 2023 Nexon EV comes with a new motor from Tata. The medium-range and long-range versions of the Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous AC motor each produce 129 PS and 143 PS, respectively. Furthermore, it is stated to be 20 kg lighter than previously. 

A larger 40.5kWh pack with a range of 465km is available with the extended range variant, while the lower-end powertrain has a 30kWh battery with a range rating of 325km. Both figures have ARAI certification. 

Expected Cost And Competition of Tata Nexon 2023

In the Indian market, the Tata Nexon EV will compete with vehicles like the MG ZS EV and Mahindra XUV400. In terms of cost, the automobile might be marketed for between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
