Mumbai : The much-awaited movie 'Ganapath', starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan, had a poor start at the box office on its opening day. According to reports, the movie has earned less than Rs 3 crores on its first day. The movie was released opposite to Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan 2.

'Ganapath' released in theatres on October 20, introducing viewers to a high-octane action-packed storyline. The film follows the character Guddu, played by Tiger Shroff, as he transforms into Ganapath, a hired gun on a mission to shield his community from a menacing syndicate led by the mysterious figure Dalini.

Remarkably, the movie's action sequences were orchestrated by the Hollywood action stunt director Tim Man, renowned for his work in films such as 'Legacy Of Lies,' 'Triple Threat,' and 'Accident Man.'

Regrettably, 'Ganapath' is Tiger Shroff's weakest opening at the box office thus far. His previous film, 'Heropanti 2,' raked in Rs 6.50 crore on its opening day, making it his lowest opener before 'Ganapath.'
