Bhagalpur : Four accused individuals in Bihar's Bhagalpur district were filmed pushing a police SUV after the vehicle unexpectedly ran out of fuel while transporting them to court. The incident, captured on camera by bystanders, has sparked online discussions and an internal police investigation.

The video shows the four men, reportedly arrested for violating Bihar's alcohol prohibition law, pushing the SUV with ropes tied around their waists under the guidance of a police officer. Reports indicate the incident occurred on Sunday near Kachahari Chowk, where the vehicle stalled. The accused were then instructed by police to push it to the side of the road.

The footage, now viral on social media, shows the men pushing the vehicle for an estimated 500 meters. Following the incident, a senior police official acknowledged the embarrassment and confirmed the launch of an internal investigation to determine any wrongdoing by officers involved.

"We have received information about the incident and an internal investigation will be initiated," stated Assistant Commissioner of Prohibition Pramodit Narayan Singh. He further emphasized strict action against any officers found responsible, assuring continued investigation into the matter.
