New Delhi : Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday took stock of the construction work of Bapu Tower under construction in Gardanibagh and issued necessary guidelines to the officials of the concerned department. During this, the Chief Minister visited the fifth, third and first floors of Bapu Tower and saw the construction work. During the inspection, the officials gave information related to the construction to the Chief Minister.

Secretary of Building Construction Department, Kumar Ravi, who was present on the spot, while giving detailed information related to the construction work to the Chief Minister, said that the construction work is being done at a fast pace and finishing touch is being given to it.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister took information about the auditorium, waiting room, lounge, gallery for the display of works to establish Bapu’s ideals among the common people, research centre, visitor facilities, orientation hall and other structures.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the Secretary of the Building Construction Department to complete the construction of Bapu Tower as soon as possible. With its construction being completed soon, the new generation will be able to know Bapu’s biography, his thoughts and his ideals. The historical events related to Bapu’s life, his thoughts, his role in the freedom struggle, his attachment to Bihar, Bapu’s ideals should be better highlighted, so that the common people can come here and see and understand him.

He has directed that the entire complex of Bapu Tower should remain a green area, the complex should look better and organized. When Bapu Tower is ready, it will be a very nice view and people will be able to come here and get information about Bapu.

The Chief Minister has said that he wishes that the construction work of Bapu Tower should be completed as soon as possible.

During this, Chief Minister’s Secretary Anupam Kumar, Building Construction Department Secretary Kumar Ravi, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna DM Shishat Kapil Ashok, SSP Rajeev Mishra and other officers were present.
