New Delhi : Over 100 flights have been delayed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport due to dense fog in the national capital on Wednesday morning. The affected flights include both domestic and international.

A total of 53 flights, including 21 domestic arrivals, 16 domestic departures, 13 international departures and 3 international arrivals scheduled were cancelled and not operating due to dense fog and other operational reasons from and to the Delhi Airport, said a report.

Delhi woke up to one more freezing day as the minimum temperature dropped to 4 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the India Metrological Department (IMD) has said that there will be no respite from the cold wave and dense fog will continue for 2 to 4 more days.

It is requested to all the travellers that they must check their flight schedule before leaving their houses as many of the flights are running either delayed or are cancelled.
