Patna : An Indigo airplane on Wednesday had to make emergency landing moments after take off after a problem was diagnosed in its front tyre which apparently did not fold back, leaving plane shaking mid air.

According to media reports, hydraulic system on the plane stopped working.

10-minutes after the take-off, the pilot informed ATS about the issue in the front tyre. The plane was asked to return to the airport and make emergency landing back in Patna.

It has been learned that the flight (6E2074) had WRD Minister Sanjay Jha on board, along with other 187 passengers. Indigo director Anchal Prakash later informed everyone about the incident and acknowledged that all passengers on-board were brought back safely.

58-minute delay

The flight was scheduled to depart for Delhi at noon on Wednesday. But, it was delayed by about 58 minutes from its scheduled departure. The passengers noticed that plane was shaking more than usual and a noise was also coming after it took off. Later, the pilot informed passengers about the issue and their return to Patna airport.

All Passengers Safe

Passengers on board were scared with the incident and remained seated after the emergency landing. A couple of passengers declined to continue their journey back to Delhi and deboarded the plane. It must be noted that no passenger was hurt in the whole incident.
