New Delhi : A year after receiving Padma Bhushan for her social work, author and philanthropist, Sudha Murthy has been nominated to the Rajya Sabha by President Droupadi Murmu. Soon after the announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended her congratulatory wishes and said that her presence in the Rajya Sabha is a powerful testament to the country’s 'Nari Shakti'.
