New Delhi : Ram Mandir inauguration is one of the key focuses for the government these days; It has been learned that the government is planning to give a half day on January 22nd to all central government offices on the occasion of consecrations of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

A news agency quoted Union Minister Jitendra Singh, saying that the decision on the half day closure of the office has been taken in view of the overwhelming sentiments revolving around the temple inauguration.

"The Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22nd January 2024 across India. To enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all central government offices, central institutions and central industrial establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 1430 hours on 22nd January 2024," the order issued to all central government ministries/ departments read.



Scheduled for 12:30 pm on January 22, the pran-pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple will start in attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various dignitaries representing diverse sectors. The series of ceremonies commenced at the Ayodhya temple complex on January 16, a week preceding the significant event. Each day leading up to the pran-pratishtha witnesses the observance of specific rituals in preparation for the occasion.
