KL Rahul set for a sensational comeback in Asia Cup 2023

New Delhi : A lot of questions have been posed over the fitness of Indian opener batsman KL Rahul. But, a recent video on the internet is an answer for all the questions, showcasing how he is getting prepared for a sensational comeback in Team India ahead of the much anticipated Asia Cup 2023.

After sustaining a thigh injury while fielding during IPL 2023, Rahul underwent surgery in London, after which he had to miss both the World Test Championship final and India's Caribbean tour. Following his surgery, he has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

In a recent video shared on his social media, KL Rahul can be seen warming up with a football before heading to the nets, where he displayed an impressive array of shots, indicating that Rahul's return to the Indian cricket team is imminent.

KL Rahul holds a crucial role in India's ODI Cup plans, occupying the vital No.5 spot, making his pre-tournament performance closely monitored. Currently, his focus is on making a comeback during the T20I series against Ireland, which he is targeting as his return series.
